Membership Requirements
Prospective VBR&PC members must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum age of 18
- Must complete the Range Safety Briefing
- Satisfactory background check. Valid proof includes:
- Payment of annual dues - $75.00 (spouses of members may join for $25/yr)
- National Rifle Association membership (Join here for only $25!)

Membership in the National Rifle Association
Membership in the National Rifle Association is a requirement for membership in the Virginia Beach Rifle and Pistol Club; however, a membership in the NRA does not obligate one to join our Club. For information about the National Rifle Association or if you wish to become a member of that organization please click on the "Join NRA Here" emblem.
Membership Application
Prospective members should follow this application process (provided the above membership requirements are met):
- Attend a General Membership Meeting and introduce yourself to the membership.
- Complete a membership application, providing proof of NRA membership, and satisfactory background check.
- Wait for approval by the board (follows within ~30 days).
After approval by the board, new members will pay their initial dues (may be prorated), attend a range safety briefing, have their name published in the Lands & Grooves, and then receive their membership badge (and consequently range privileges).
